Our mission is to raise funds and support Ukraine’s defenders who courageously safeguard freedom, human rights, democracy, and the rule of law today. Since February 2022, the AFUO has successfully raised over $1,000,000 from generous Australian donors who share our commitment to making a difference.
The AFUO believes in providing tangible aid that directly supports Ukrainian defenders. Through your donations, we focus on acquiring essential non-lethal equipment and aid to enhance the safety and effectiveness of servicemen and servicewomen on the frontline. Our three primary areas of support include:
- Life-Saving Equipment: surveillance drones, night vision devices, thermal imaging devices, first aid kits, generators, two-way radios, and other life-saving equipment that enables effective communication and enhanced situational awareness.
- Transport vehicles: second-hand off-road vehicles that assist with medical evacuations, transport of personnel and logistics.
- Protective Gear: helmets, bulletproof vests, gloves, footwear, thermal clothing and sleeping bags.
